Wood Thrush attending nest with chicks

I saw two chicks in the nest with the wood thrush. A week later I came back and there was no activity on the nest. Were these two chicks already fully fledged? Or what could have happened to the babies - that was my wonder. These photos were taken with a telephoto lens at about 48x, so I wasn't that close.
